We’re excited to announce that on Wednesday, September 23, our second Clinical Division Book Chats will take place! Looking forward to sharing thoughts and practical applications inspired by Sonja Lyubomirsky’s book, How To Feel Loved.
To accommodate time zones on both sides of the Atlantic, there will be two ZOOM sessions on that day:
The first session will be held at 12:30pm Eastern Daylight Time (equivalent to 18:30, or 6:30pm, in Central European Time). Melissa Johnson Carissimo is the facilitator for this Book Chat. Melissa has been a member of IPPA Clinical Division Peer Consultation Group since 2022. She is a Person-Centered Counsellor and Positive Psychology Coach based in Genoa, Italy and New York City. Predating her work in mental health, Melissa has a background in creative writing and literary book publishing. She is the creator of Metaphoric Affect Processing (MAP), a poetic approach to emotion regulation.
The second session will be held at 7:00pm EDT (equivalent to 1:00am CET). Lorraine Gahles-Kildow PhD is the facilitator for this Book Chat. Dr. Gahles-Kildow has been a member of IPPA Clinical Division Peer Consultation group since its inception in 2018. She is a licensed psychologist based in New Jersey and is the founder and director of Grow Positive Therapy LLC. Dr. Gahles-Kildow specializes in a unique blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and positive psychology interventions, which she terms “CBT+.”
