Since the inaugural IPPA World Congress on Positive Psychology (WCPP) first took place in 2009 in the city of Philadelphia, PA, USA, on the grounds of University of Pennsylvania, the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) has been focused on growing and evolving what has since become a world-leading conference for the field of positive psychology, wellbeing, and beyond.

Now preparing for 8th IPPA World Congress in Vancouver, Canada, the event is a ‘home’ for those in the field and beyond, working to advance the field of positive psychology and wellbeing, and other related areas.

We expect 1,600 delegates from more than 50 countries to join with us over four days in Vancouver to listen, learn, network, share, connect, and engage in one of hundreds of sessions (plus pre- and post-Congress workshops).

The IPPA World Congress is a place to share (and learn from ) findings, insights, and information, through symposia, panels, poster sessions, galleries, workshops, ignite sessions, keynotes, and roundtable discussions that focus on leading-edge research, as well as applications of the fascinating science across a variety of fields, industries, and areas – from business and workplaces, to education, to medicine and the greater healthcare sector, to the impact on students and wellbeing, and other areas such as belonging, spirituality, and meaning.
