Kathy Miller, MAPP, MBA, ACC, and Xaviera Diaz, MAPP, Co-founders of Helping People Helping Others (HPHO), bring a shared passion for fostering inclusive excellence in the workplace. In their interactive presentation, “Inclusive Excellence: Fostering Success for People with Disabilities,” they will explore evidence-based strategies that empower individuals with disabilities to thrive in professional and community settings.
Kathy and Xaviera leverage their expertise in positive psychology, organizational behavior, and workplace inclusion to highlight key pillars of well-being—character strengths, self-determination, mattering, and belonging. Through engaging discussions and practical activities, they will demonstrate how organizations can create inclusive environments that support workforce integration and promote success for individuals with disabilities.
Both bring personal and professional dedication to this work. Kathy, a mother of an adult daughter with developmental disabilities, is committed to unlocking creativity and compassion to build a world where all individuals feel seen, valued, and empowered. Xaviera, a first-generation Canadian with a background in organizational behavior, neuroscience, and the financial sector, has spent her career helping businesses of all sizes create environments where employees feel valued and included.
This session promises actionable insights for fostering inclusive workplaces and driving meaningful change.
