General IPPA Membership Policies and Guidelines:

Anniversary Memberships

All IPPA memberships run for a period of either one (1) or two (2) calendar years, depending on the membership type. All IPPA memberships begin on the date of purchase and subsequent renewals will extend membership for one or two calendar years from the anniversary date of your first membership purchase.

Developing Country Discount

Residents of developing countries are eligible for a 50% discount on any of the IPPA membership categories. To qualify, individuals must have a primary residence address within a country recognized as “Developing” by The UN. The countries identified as developing by region on that UN page are eligible for the discount. If your country is a UN documented developing country and not on this list, please contact us with that documentation.

To receive the discount, please select the membership of your choice and enter the discount code DC-DEV COUNTRY (case-sensitive) when prompted during the checkout process.

Code of Conduct
Members are expected to adhere to IPPA’s Code of Conduct, in addition to respective terms of use of certain of IPPA’s products, programs, events, and services, whether provided by IPPA or through any permitted third party providers and vendors.

IPPA Student Membership

Student Membership provides all the same benefits of an IPPA Professional Membership plus more – at a lower cost (just $50 USD per year or $90 USD for two-years)

Take a major step forward in your career or studies by becoming a student member of IPPA. You receive the same benefits of a Professional membership (plus more) at a reduced price. You also get access to an exclusive student Division (special interest group) dedicated to our student members, and led by fellow student members.

You can connect, learn, and grow with others from around the world and find mentors, too. You also have access to our members-only online community, a networking group exclusively for full-time enrolled students, and access to resources, discounts, mentors, leadership development opportunities, and so much more.

Is an IPPA Student Membership right for you?

The IPPA Student Membership is exclusively for full-time students enrolled in an accredited college, university, or graduate program in an area of study related to psychology, positive psychology, or similar fields. Proof of enrollment will be needed upon purchase to maintain active membership.

*Please note at this time post-doctoral course work and fellows are not available for student membership.

The cost for student membership is only $50 USD annually (or $90 USD for a two-year student membership).

Virtual Learning Library

As a member of IPPA, you gain exclusive access to presentations, content, webinars, and more within the IPPA Virtual Learning Library.  This members-only area of the website contains hundreds of videos and other resources on positive psychology research and interventions.

Engage – Online Community and Collaboration

Access to IPPA’s online member community, IPPA Engage, where members can introduce themselves with a dedicated member profile, find colleagues through a member database, share their work in the repository, and participate in the discussion forum.

Professional Divisions (Special Interest Groups – SIGs)

As a member of IPPA, you can opt to join a division (a special interest group), where our members from around the world can collaborate on a variety of interdisciplinary projects such as World Congress sessions, awards, publications, and conferences, or educational webinars, and more.

Monthly News Round-up (MNR)

The Monthly News Round-up (MNR) is a members-only email newsletter detailing news and happenings within IPPA and across the field of positive psychology.  It features information about upcoming events, webinars and programs, as well as a variety of educational features, funding opportunities, conference updates, and other information from around the world.

Positive Psychology Leader Series (PPLS)

You receive access and invitations to conversations and Q&A discussions with leading researchers and practitioners in the Positive Psychology Leader Series (PPLS), an IPPA open-conversation program that highlights the newest research and applications across the world of positive psychology and related fields, and the people behind it.

Special Discounts

You receive substantial discounts on registration fees to the IPPA World Congress (which attracts thousands from around the world), along with discounts to other IPPA events.
