Resilience & Emotion Regulation

Nathalie’s core research interest lies in resilience and emotion regulation — and their impact on well-being, burnout, and job satisfaction among office workers. She believes organisations must take emotions in the workplace far more seriously.

A Global Perspective

Having lived in Bahrain, the UK, Germany, France, and Switzerland, Nathalie brings an international outlook to her work — spanning individual coaching, organisational workshops, and positive leadership coaching.

Connection, Community & Volunteering with IPPA

From a passion for evidence-based practice to a love of meeting people from around the world, Nathalie’s journey with IPPA reflects both intellectual curiosity and genuine human connection.

Drawn to Evidence-Based Practice

Nathalie is passionate about evidence-based interventions and how research findings can be applied to everyday work life. Her curiosity and love of learning — a hint of her character strengths 😊 — drew her naturally toward IPPA and the Work & Organisations Division.

A Sense of Belonging Across Borders

Nathalie values IPPA’s many ways to interact — live events, recordings, and connections formed at conferences around the world. The IPPA World Congress has been a highlight: a place to learn, connect, and truly feel part of the same family.

The Logical Next Step

Volunteering for the Work & Organisations Division felt like the natural progression — a way to get involved, interact with like-minded peers, and continue growing alongside the global positive psychology community.

Inspirations & An Open Invitation to the Work & Org Division!

Inspired by New Frontiers

Nathalie is currently inspired by the possibility of bringing tools from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) — especially emotion regulation and distress tolerance practices — into leadership and organisational work.

The executives and teams she trains don’t just need to create positive deviance; they also need concrete skills for the hard moments: conflict, burnout, and change management. Bridging psychological interventions with positive psychology is where she sees enormous opportunity.

Leading IPPA’s Largest Division

It’s an honour for Nathalie to serve as President-Elect of IPPA’s biggest Division. With over 700 members, the Work & Organisations Division is one of the most engaged in IPPA. Nathalie is thrilled to be surrounded by a passionate and efficient Leadership Team, all committed to fostering flourishing in the workplace and across organisations.

As a team, they are committed to bridging research and practice — bringing the latest interventions directly to members.

A Warm Invitation to All IPPA Members

Any IPPA member is welcome to join the Work & Organisations Division and take part in its events. Nathalie warmly encourages you to do so — and would love to hear from both new and longstanding members about what you’d like to see more of.

As the Division looks ahead, Nathalie is excited to explore more activities, learning opportunities, and spaces for connection.
